Raymond Wong is a recently retired member of the City University. Besides serving as a full-time academic staff in the University for 28 years, he also engaged as an independent researcher focusing on complex construction systems, infrastructure and urban development studies, both locally and overseas. In the past 15 years, he is frequently invited by many HK’s professional institutions as a guest speaker to deliver talks.
Program
The aim of this course/programs is to provide an in-depth review of some of the major construction systems being used in the construction industry. Real-life application employed in recent representing projects will be used as part of the presentation materials to facilitate the sharing of experience by the speakers.
Upon the completion of the courses/programs, participants should be able to understand and appreciate:
– Related technologies & operation details involved in the highlighted construction systems
– How these technologies are applied in various real-life project cases.
– Integration of technologies in the construction of large-scaled & complex projects.
– The theoretical, financial, technical and managerial implications in the
application of these technologies or construction systems in real-life practices.
